Hi

My PDC is win2000 running DHCP, I want to add another domain controller to use as a Application and Print Server. So both servers are running win2000 server, but the new domain controller will not accept an IP address and thus I can not add it to the Domain.

Any help would be great, thanks

Go to the properties of the local area connection and select the TCP/IP and properties then set the IP address to the one you need to use. If it is set to a different one change it or check the bullet to obtain IP address automatically. It would be better to set it statically and set a reservation for it on the DHCP server.
