adding a photo

G'day i want to add a photo to a form, BUT i don't want to have to 'right-click' then 'insert object'. I would ideally like to be able to use a macro, or something similiar, to add the image , which is saved in the current table from which the form gets its data, directly from the form. Is this possible?? Can You help?? Thanx in advance, w

You could store your photos as bitmap images in your table so that as you navigate throught the records the photo automatically changes to the bitmap for that record.

Check out the Categories Table and Form on the Northwind Database for an example of what I mean.

I think this is what you are asking...if not give me some more info and I'll see if I can help.

Your suggestion of going the the Thread 181 - 117063 was just the answer I needed. I implemented the suggestions in that thread and it worked just as i wanted it to. Yahnk you again . Wayne
