Hi,
I want to setup a Conference room calendar that everyone can look at but only one or two people can edit. Has anyone done this? I want people to email the person(s) to book the conference rooms as needed.
Thanks
Cmillsy

You will need to create a Resource to do this. Open Console1, rightclick your Post Office -> New -> Resource. Once created log in as that resource name and assign proxy rights to the people who will be booking the room. Be sure to give them rights to the Calendar.

Boy, I didn't make that very clear, did I. Assign everybody who wants to view the calendar read-only proxy rights to the calendar. Give the people booking the room read and write proxy rights.

Check out this article from Novell.

I setup a shared calendar for my department. I setup a resource. Then created a shared folder that is viewed as a calendar. This is working very well for us.

You should be able to do the same thing with a conference room schedule.
