We have NW6 with SP2 and are using Traditional volumes. We are getting low on disk space on the SYS volume and I want to increase the size.
Where do I do this now? In NW4 it was Install.nlm, which was easy to use. What about NW6?
In NetWare Remote Manager I can see disk usage but I don't see where to add space.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Judy

Hi,

It's now done in ConsoleOne under the Media tab f the server's properties.

Lou

Media tab of the server's properties? Or of SYS volume? Or are they one and the same?
Thanks!
Judy

Hi,

Basically the same. It will get you to where you want to be.

Lou

Be aware that when you add space to traditional volumes under NetWare 6, all workstations that have drives mapped to that volume will be unable to access the volume until rebooted. This is a problem that I have a case open with Novell tech support about. They have reproduced the problem and have escalated the issue.
