I've had this issue since I was running Windows 95, but I just recently installed XP Pro and I'm still getting it. My Add/Remove programs have a lot of ghost images of programs I had on the system and I would like to remove them. Anyone know how I can do this? Roy McCafferty

(lots of tweaks/functions - one of which under System\Software Installation\Uninstall allows you to edit the add remove programs list).

Any half decent Registry Cleaner program should have that option. Xteq is a good suggestion. Sometimes just clicking the item in the Add / Remove list, Windows will offer to remove it if it can't be uninstalled (having been uninstalled previously).
