Okay so back to my old switch. My client has asked for music on hold to be added as a feature. I am running x11-release 17 on an SL1-XT. I believe I need to install a QPC 74 card is that correct? What else is involved in adding music? Could someone walk me through the LD and the process? Is there any other equipment I need to purchase. I know this is covered in Book 2 of software feature guides but the only book that I have is book 1 entitled X11 software feature guide. So while I'm on the subject does anyone know if there is a place to get the rest of the books?

little behind supported rls, one trunk per shelf, but you don't have any of those, so one trunk card one

then is the cdb return all the way down down to the mus prompt and answer yes, the enter the route at the next prompt.. then go to each route and add the mus to the route. the cdb add music internal then you add it to routes for moh to external callers...

You will need a conference loop to use for each MOH tn. Nortel recommends that a conference card, either the Conf/TDS or the QPC44 Conference card.

you may have enough conf trunks, but be sure to check. i had forgotton about those, but they are used for moh as well as transfer and of course conf... if you don't have enough, you'll notice cut offs on transfer attemps, as well as possible conf calls that can't add all 6 parties
