Hi
Can anyone tell me if it is possible to add another harddisk(Scsi) to an existing raid5 set on an NT Server and have the space shared amoung the existing volumes(three) .If possible can you please tell me what I have to do.

Thanks

Not easily! One way is to backup the server, wipe it, set up the partitions as you want them, re-install the OS and restore the data. Or buy a utility like PowerQuest's VolumeManager. NB There may be cheaper utilities than that.

Do you mean ServerMagic from PowerQuest? If so, that is for Netware. The product for NT/W2K is now called VolumeManager. I'm sure they changed this just to make more money!

Probably they changed the name to make money becuase I have a ServerMagic that works with NT/W2K.
