Add cmdClear to Form

Hi,

Could someone help me out with adding a command button (cmdClear) to a form that in the on click event it would clear all text boxes for that particular record? What would the coding be for this? Thanks for any help :)
 
Sure, I can show you that. But, is that what you really want? Are the textboxes bound? That means do they represent data in a table. If so, clearing them will also set the values in the table to the cleared values.

But to answer your question.

me.txxt0 = ""


is to clear that text box. Note, it is an unbound box. I would never clear bound data this way.

Rolliee, Thanks for your response. Actually it is for a data entry form, so this data has not yet been added to the table but i think it is bound. Is this a bad idea? Because this is not vital...
