Hi all

I currently have 15 users who all have their own e-mail addresses e.g. john@xxxxx.co.uk. This was all set-up 18 months ago. Recently we have started another company and have a new domain name e.g. yyyy.co.uk.

Is it possible to have all e-mails for xxxxx.co.uk and yyyy.co.uk to be downbloaded to Microsoft Exchange, and then distributed to the relevant user as we do now with the xxxxx.co.uk?

For example user "johnsmith" will have in his e-mail outlook john.smith@xxxxx.co.uk and john.smith@yyyy.co.uk.

If anybody know how to do this please explain? Or if anybody knows of any on-line tutorials please let me know.

Thanks Craig

Hi rye,

checked the link out but all it was, was a list to all the forums on this website. Have you got a direct link to a website which will guide me through a tutorial? If not could you please tell me what it is I need to search for.

Cheers

Sorry rye,

Just found the link you added and tried it out. So far I have done step one (put the e-mail address as %g%s@company2.co.uk - as this is how the other company1 was)

Step 2 - could not find Exchange Addresses but under that tab their was e-mail addresses which shows e.g. smtp -johnsmith@company1.co.uk / smtp - johnsmith@company2.co.uk.

Only problem is now both my domains are hosted by an ISP, so far I have not entered account name, passwords, pop addresses etc? Where do i add this?

Look forward to your reply

You add the new name to the default recipient policy and make sure that the correct domain for SMTP is the default.
If your users are setup in AD to auto-update based on recipient policy, they will get the new address immediately and keep the old.
Check some users to see if this is ok and if they primary address became the new one.
The primary address is the one the will be sending from, JUST that one mind you!
