ADC DOES NOT READ FROM 5.5

Can someone tell me what is required for the Exchange 2003 ADC to read the data from Exchange 5.5? Currently, my ADC does not replicate information from 5.5 to AD. I have already reentered the user/pass and restarted the
service. Are any special permissions required? Any help would be appreaciated.

Does the account have permissions to all threee levels in 5.5
