At some point the list of the programs in the add/remove program list has been truncated or deleted. It only shows the top 3. If I click the sort by combo box and choose another option other than sort by Name it shows a different list but shows more of them but not all.
The scroll bar on the side lets me scroll down an otherwise empty list I used to have tons of programs in the list. So the scroll bar knows there are more programs they just don’t show. Any ideas how to get this back?

TIA

Try this out first. Go to Start> Run> type regsvr32 appwiz.cpl and hit Enter. Check and see if the issue has been corrected. If not, check out the these articles.

Go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall and cycle through each registry key. If an entry has a DisplayIcon string with a "-1" value, set this to "0".
