I am trying to implement my Windows 2000 DC as the DNS server that all my clients use as their primary DNS server (they are currently pointed to our ISP's DNS servers.). I configured my DNS to forward requests to my ISP's DNS servers and that is working great. The only problem is my domain name is the exact same name as a real Internet domain name. For example, my active directory domain name is sampledomain.com and my clients need to access the website fairly often. Another company hosts so the computer is not a member of my active directory domain. My DNS server works great except it won't resolve that one domain name the way that I want it to. Your help is appreciated.
