AD and Exchange not talking

When I add a user into Active Directory and make the user a mailbox, the user's mailbox does not show up in System Manager. Normally AD tells exchange to create the mailbox, but that doesnt seem to be happening. Can anyone help?

When you mail enable a user, the exchange attributes are populated by the RUS. The mailbox itself is not instanced until either a message is received or the user logs onto it with a MAPI client.

Send a test message to the user and the mailbox will be instanced.

Well the mailbox finally showed up in exchange after about 2 hours. To answer your comment, I did send the user an email right after i created it, but his mailbox still didnt show up in Exchange for 2 hours.

Check the tracking logs to find out when the email was delivered.
