activex scripting technology

hi,

i am facing a problem of calling a java applet, which is using a java plug-in will be treated as an activex component by internet explorer. now i want to interact with the applet in jscript/javascript file.

can anybody give solution of how to do this. here i am using microsoft sdk4.0.
