Hi Freinds,

Have developed one Actvex Document Exe application contain only one .VBD file (example 'Test.Vbd') which is using SQL Server 200 as backend. I just copied all the files, including the .VBD files, into our Intranet Server (IIS Server).

In order to test the above application, I start Internet Explorer from the developing machine (where I developed the above app.) and type the URL and it works well. But it doesn't work from other machine and I'm getting the "Save As" message upon entering the URL from IE.

From the devloping machine it works well and where I have VB and SQL client conncetivity etc..

Does activex Document Exe application reuired any run time .DLL files ?. My objective is, I need my application to run from all the PCs using our Intranet.

Appreciate any of your help/guidence to solve this problem.

Thanks & best regards,

It looks like the mime type is not set up on the server, for the .vbd extension
