I don't know if this is the right forum but i hope someone can give me the answer because this is bad for my blood pressure. :-)

We have a IPAQ 4150 and we only use it for synchronizing our calender and contacts.

We had some problems so we hard resetted the ipaq to make sure it is default again. We then synchronize it again with our Exchange 2003 server but we get a synchronization error

It say's we don't have enough memory. Well i still have 10 mb free. More then enough for a few appointments.

Any idea where to look for the problem?

Thank you very much for the help

Check the running programs in the iPaq. You probably have a bunch of stuff still running that can be stopped.

I hope you find this post helpful.

Mark

I allready checked that and that is not the problem.

I get the following
===========================================================
Synchronization failed. You do not have enough free memory on your device to synchronize information. Delete unused files from your device or close programs that are running to free up memory, and then try again

error code: 0x8007000e
===========================================================

I checked the memory and is more then enough

What else to check if it is not the running programs

Did you try moving the slider to allocate more memory for running programs?

I hope you find this post helpful.

Mark

i think you mean move the slider to allocate more memory for storage. Else i don't understand why i should allocate more memory for programs

Presumably you already have Pocket Outlook installed and running on your iPaq since it comes pre-loaded there. So if you can't configure it I am guessing there is insufficient free memory to actually run the program.

I hope you find this post helpful.

the problem is with active sync. When we synchronize we get the error. It just doesn't continue with the snchronisation for full. It stops halfway.

We can start and run all other programs with no problems.

it looks as though there is an error in some of the synchronization list or something

Last suggestion I have for you is to download and upgrade Active Sync. 4.1 is now available for download.

I hope you find this post helpful.

Mark
