Hi,

Does anyone know if you can create a non active X
Dll with VB? I want to create a VB Dll and call it from
another program. The program that will call
the DLL cannot call Active X Dll's. It can only
call DLL's that aren't Active X. So, does anyone know how to create a non-Active X DLL with VB?

Thanks for any help,
MBaddar

There is no way that I know to create a DLL that is not an Active X dll in Visual Basic. What you require I presume is an API based DLL. This will need to be written in 'C'.

Hi,

Thanks for the response. Do you know if VB has a tool
for creating API based dll's?

MBaddar

No, VB does not create non-ActiveX DLLs (API-based DLLs) in any fashion. You must use C.

Okay, thanks. Guess I better learn a little C.

Thanks,
