One more time I have a questions. I'm working with a Catalyst WS-C2924M-XL, I'm tried to active Spanning-Tree for vlan 6.

(config)spanning-tree vlan 6 priority 128 [enter]

when i look the show spanning-tree vlan 6, a message said "Spanning-tree is not active for vlan 6"

Vlan 1 is working fine.

Yes, vlan 6 is configure in the Switch, when I check the spanning-tree information, this message appear...

CK29_32T_3#sh spanning-tree vlan 6

Spanning tree 6 is not currently active
The following parameters have been configured :

Stp Status : Enabled
Protocol : IEEE
Max Age (sec) : 20
Hello time (sec) : 2
Forward Delay (sec): 15
Bridge Priority : 128

and the configuration in the interface is

interface FastEthernet0/2
duplex half
speed 10
port security max-mac-count 1
port security action shutdown
port storm-control broadcast action filter
port storm-control broadcast trap
port storm-control broadcast threshold rising 45 falling 25
switchport access vlan 6
spanning-tree portfast
!
The interfaces 0/1 - 0/24 are configure as "switchport access vlan 6"

Help Please...

Are all of your ports set as spanning-tree portfast??

I hate all Uppercase... I don't want my groups to seem angry at me all the time! =)

As a final Solution...

I make these process:
1. erase startup-config
2. delete flash:vlan.dat

and star the configuration again, first make VTP, then create VLAN's, and Spanning-Tree....

This configuration is working fine, thanks for your comments....
