I have a W2K server which I had to rebuild from backups (Using Arcserve 2K) I recreated partitions as they were, reinstalled W2K and Arcserve, restored Data hten I reatored C: and system state in "Active Directory Restore Mode" when I boot up a number of services do not start (All to do with IIS) I also get a pop up saying Active Directory cannot be contacted do I want to use Dial up. I also get the same pop up when I use active directory for users and computers if I say no to dial up I do see a list of all users! Any ideas.

How's your DNS recovery? Also, if you don't go into AD Restore Mode, is IIS starting? Glen A. Johnson
