I'm running an Active Directory Domain containing multiple Windows 2003 servers, one windows 2000 server, and ~20 clients that are win2k pro. My problem is that "my network places or net view, only display the servers and neglects to display clients. When doing a net view, i receive no errors, and have no event viewer entries that pertain to running the command. DNS works fine, i can get to the machines using run: \\workstation-name. Everything in my network works perfectly except for services that rely on this listing, IE NAV Server. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

just a bump so the thread doesn't get lost in the sauce...

Are your clients using DHCP and the Servers using fixed IP addresses? If so have you disabled NetBIOS via your DHCP Scope?
Can you access the clients directly via their UNC name? i.e.

\\client-10.your.domain\

You can check on the client whether NetBIOS is enabled or disabled by typing 'ipconfig /all' at a Command Prompt, there is a line 'NetBIOS over Tcpip' and it will display either disabled or enabled.

All machines are statically assigned IPs, they all have NetBIOS enabled, are pointing to the correct DNS/WINS Servers, I can do a search by computer name and it finds the computer, I can do a search by IP address and it finds the machine. nbtstat -a workstation name shows the IP, nbtstat -A IP shows the workstation name, I went through the whole browstat rigamarrow on the wins server, everything checks out ok, even did a simulated browse master fail and it went to DC2 just fine. I'm baffled.
