My company headquarters is in New Jersey where I have a Windows 2000 Active Directory Server. We now have offices in Canada, Los Angeles, London, etc. Each of these offices are connected to the Internet with different bandwith speeds (i.e. NJ has a 1.1DSL while London has a 512kDSL).
Some people have recommended setting up a seperate Active Directory Domain server at each of the remote sites and simply building a "trust" relationship between them. Others have said that this might cause a lot of administrative headaches.
I'd like to hear from experienced Administrators who might have an opinion on "best practices" for setting up remote sites on Active Directory Domains.
Cheers!
