If I use a firstname.lastname as the user's NT account. Will that give me problems with how AD handles it later? I am talking about the ".". Thanks!

Active Directory and using first.lastname as username...

There should be no problem using the firstname.lastname syntax. AD should handle this without problems. We use the same naming syntax at the company I work for

thanks brain. just that the pesky mac os x we have here too doesn't like it! oh well!!
