The API card doesn't really directly replace a Backup/Restore/Remote Access PC Card - it adds functionality to the Partner, including immediate output of call information through the SMDR port - for "screen pops". (although it still provides the backup and restore function )
The RAC Card is certainly available and orderable, in fact we still spec one with each R7 that we install. We also set the automatic backup to go to the card, in case a processor goes belly up and needs to be replaced.
