Acrobat Reader 4.0 prints unreadable characters.

I encountered a very strange problem with Acrobat Reader 4.0. The first page it prints OK, but second page and other pages include unreadable characters. I know it is not because of the printer because other people print the file ok. Pls help!
 
You haven't supplied a great deal of depth or background to frame your question with, so I'm just going to take a wild stab at it, Littlefish: if others can print the same file but it fails to do so when you send the print job, maybe it's because you haven't embedded the TrueType fonts and they have?
If the printer did not have these fonts available, and they were not embedded within your file, then it would toss some garbage characters in as a substitution.

Otherwise, I haven't a clue as to what the probs could be...
