ACPI Error on startup

PC running XP - 2 years old. New memory module. Blue screens occasionally on startup with the following error ' Your Computers BIOS is not fully ACPI compliant'.

PC is only 2 years old and IS fully ACPI compliant. Memory has passed PC check memory check but is there a hidden problem with the memory? thanks

You might want to check your BIOS settings, or reset them to their defaults:

Try going to your manufacturer's web site to see if there's a BIOS upgrade for operation with XP.
