ACP 120 License Error 2

Have a profile 5 ACP 120 the order said Bundled which means comes with ESXI license already on it. If I login to the AVP (8.0.1) web management and go to Manage/Licensing I can see a Key and an expiry date of never. However in SMGR SDM the license status is Restricted. I tried entering the loop back address against the WebLM config but it remains the same, any ideas what needs to be done to clear the alarm in SDM?

I believe you still need a license in WebLM/SDM. Your server should have a VMware Essentials license on it. Still, you should have an entitlement in PLDS for AVP that turns into a WebLM license.

Kyle555 is correct. You must get the AVP Instance license installed on System Manager. Once you do you will need to refresh the AVP in SDM in order to clear the error. Also from the SDM you can change the WebLM address. Make sure it wasn't left at default of 127.0.0.1. You should see the license "consumed" in the Licensing section of System Manager and it provides a list of what device consumed the license.

Problem I have is they did a shipment but is was short 2 x VLarge AVP servers (AVP Dual CPU License), then they sent us as a replacement 2 x ACP120 P5 servers but they requie a different license (Maximum AVP XL Servers), hence the error.

So I have the spare dual cpu licenses but they are of no use.
