Hi all,

I'm an I.T Manager and i work at a hotel and i have a basic experience with PBXs, I have Meridian 1 Option 61C.

I have an ACDN cofigured with a menu option prompt where when you press 0 it routes to the operator, and when pressing 1 it forwards to an outside number (Central Reservation Office). The problem is in the evening shift, if you press 1 it routes to an internal extension instead of the central reservation. I have researched a bit and i know that the ACDN are configured in LD 23, but i have no idea how to change the routing to the external number.

I really appreciate if somebody can put me on the track and tell me where i should be looking.

I'm betting you have Meridian Mail. You'll need to log into that and look for Voice Service DN Tables and Voice Menus. I suspect you have a Time of day controller on there that is changing the menu at a predetermined time.

What might be the easiest fix for now, is to out the phone the menu forwards to at night, and re-build it as an ACD queue that is "NCFW" to the Central Reservations Desk. This way, you don't have to learn the Mail system the hard way.

Thank you for your prompt reply. Actually I wish I had the Meridian Mail, but I have the HMS400.

Anyway, you have given me the hint that this needs to be changed in HMS400, and i found the executable which allows me to change the configuration of the auto attendant "Autoattn.exe". So, in the Auto Attendant module, I opened the call flow chart and the evening shift was set to an internal extension, so I updated it and I assume that it will transfer to the central reservation tonight. I will test it.
