ACD announcement?

What is the best way to have an announcement come up after one ring then continue to the ACD hunt group? Vector?

build a vector like this:

01 wait-time 2 sec hearing ringback
02 announcement <1234>
03 queue-to split <22>
04 wait-time 30 sec hearing music
05 goto step 4 if unconditionally

I got it to work, but now it is taking 15 rings to get to the announcement... I would like it to pick up after one or two rings.

What do you get if you dial the announcement extension directly? The vector looks like it should play the announcement properly.

How busy is this vector, How long is the message? If this is on a TN750C board, then only 16 people can hear the message and the 17th must wait for a timeslot to open up. remember that you are competing with all of the other announcments on that board for time slots.

Well. The announcement was empty, but now when I try to record it, it goes for about two sec. and then fast busy. I have 5 other announcements on the same card.

I used another announcement. NOw the announcement comes on, but then it rings and rings and doesn't actually queue up. Any suggestions on changing?

Can you do a trace on the vector? Did you check your error log for entries that could be related to this?

Try 'change announcements' is the announcement set to Queue 'y'?
