AccountCodes/Authorization Codes 1

Hello everyone,
I have an IP Office 406V2 4.1 (12). I have user rights set up on an extension. It can dial locally but not long distance. I would like to have them dial locally and when they dial a long distance number be propted to enter an account code or authorization code to complete the L.D. call. I have set up account codes and authorization codes on this extension but it prompts me to enter a code weather they call out locally or long distance. I just what them to enter a code when calling L.D. only.
Any thoughts on this? It seems that account codes and authorization codes work the same way.

Do you have force account codes checked on the user? If you do it will force for all calls. to get around this you will need to create a new ARS and then only force account codes on the long distance short codes. then add a short code in the user for 9N and point to the new ARS. If you try to use user short codes for this you will lose secondary dialtone.

Kevin,
That worked. I just unticked force account in telephony tab, then ticked on my ARS shortcode for long distance to force account code. Also changed my busy to Dial for the L.D. shortcode.
