I have a Firebox X500, Netware 5.1 SP7 server. My MUVPN is connecting OK & I can access the server but only using a web browser. How can I access the server or map network drives through the Firebox?

I had to make a registry change for this to work
add the expexteddialupdelay entry as show below. the value is the number fo seconds the system will wait until it times out

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Netlogon\Parameters]
"ExpectedDialupDelay"=dword:00000030

you may also want to try to enter the network servers ips in the lmhosts files

I'll give it a try this weekend...Thanks

Just entered value in registry & modified LMHost file, no go. I will try increasing the timeout value to 60...

Still unable to mapped a Netware 5.1/SP7 server over MUVPN. Latest response when attempting, "Specified server cannot perform the requested operation. I've tried using server IP address & name with same results...It looks like something needed at the server??? I was able to map shared folder on Win2000 machine same network as server.

I used another laptop w/"client for Netware" loaded and worked like a charm. The original PC did not have client for Netware loaded. I guess I was hoping I could connect without client loaded with just tcp/ip...will continue to play without "client" software.
