I need to get internet history on a users workstation - I thought I could pull it from the profile on the server - but it's not there. How can I map to the user's C drive to get the history?

Thanks

depending on your level of perms, you should be able to map a drive to the \\machine\c$ admin share. from there you would navigate from docs & settings into the users profile, then into local settings and then to history or ie temp. you mention that you are attempting to get this from a server, is this a roaming profile? or redirected ? anyway, you can open the .dat file with notepad ... i would do NONE of the above if your company does not have a written and signed electronic info agreement between the company and the user that states that all data is company data.... ect, ect...
