Access97 Export to Text Not Available 1

I have an install of Access 97 where the export to text file option is not present. I know there is a bulletin on the web somewhere, but I can't find it. It explains what you need to do to fix your installation, as re-installation does not seem to help.

Anybody remember this and can point the way?

Long time ago, but do you need to install options from the valupak folder of the cd ?

Well, I tried reinstalling and installed the data access from the valuepak, and still don't have the text export. Any other ideas perhaps?

Many thanks to Douglas J. Steele for the answer to this one. It was posted on a microsoft group.



Search for the files msexcl35.dll, msxbse35.dll, mspdox35.dll and
mstext35.dll on your hard drive (they should all be in the System folder)
and use regsvr32.exe to reregister them. You may also have to look for
