I'm a big fan of Access, but I've noticed that Microsoft advertises another database, FoxPro. I find that Access works great for small to intermediate projects. SQL Server I use for big projects. What's the rationale for using FoxPro? My experience with FoxPro is that it's slower than Access. I'm trying to figure out why anyone would choose it over Access or SQL Server. I see a lot of proprietary vendor software using Fox and I've never been too impressed with it. Thanks for your feedback.

The only possible benefit I can see is that FoxPro creates executable files.
