I have a stored procedure that is listed in program manager but when I click the item I get a messagebox saying

The database item you selected has been modified or deleted. Do yo want to refresh the project now? Yes/No.
Clicking yes does nothing.

You can not delete the item, only Modify button is available.

I can see the stored procedure by opening the DBC, but why does can't I open it from Program manager?

Gaelin,

Program manager? Do you perhaps mean project manager?

If so, it sounds as if the project files have got slightly corrupted. You could try any of the following (in this order):

- From the Project menu, choose Cleanup Project

- Remove the DBC from the project (the whole DBC, not just the stored proc),then add it back again

- Create a new project. Drag all the items except the DBC from old project to new. Add the DBC to the new. Discard the old.

Mike,

Thanks for the reply. Once a created a new project, the problem was resolved. Cleanup and removing ghe DBC from the Project Manager did not help.

Thanks
