Access subform listbox crash and corruption

This question is for an Access project that is the front-end for a SQL Server Database.

I have an Access form that has a listbox.

The listbox is set to a integer value that is used as the master field on a subform, so that when you select on item in the listbox, the subform populates with the appropriate record.

I've done this before with no problem.

I am using Access 2003 but all the users use Access 2000. The file is a 2000 file and all code is germaine to 2000. In fact, in this instance, there is not code at all.

Initially, the users see the data properly. They may go into the subform data and make changes, go to a new record, etc. However, by the time they look at 2-5 different records, they begin to experience problems related to variables being unavailable, inability to open other forms, etc. Finally, Access Crashes and the front-end .adp file comes up as corrupt.

This does not occur on my system or on Access from Office XP.

Any ideas?

Thanks.
