Hi
I’ve created two dbs. Data.mdb has all the data tables and Forms.mdb with all queries, forms, etc.
I put both in a public folder on the network, opened Forms.mdb and used the Links Manager to redirect the table links to the network folder. Everything works, however, it is extremely slow. I’ve complied Forms.mdb to Forms.mde and it’s still like waiting for paint to dry. (Sorry that’s my father speaking)
I know my coding isn’t the cleanest it could be. Could anyone give me some tips or pointers on what or where I could clean it up so it runs faster??

Thanks
Befine

The other big problem I had was my servers on-access virus scanning. I told the scanner to ignore .mdb and .mde files and speed, especailly on opening, increased hugely.
