I setup Access Security and almost everything works correctly. Here is my question.

When I try to Access my secured dB it asks me for a login and password. I have 2 different levels of access setup. I can login into both levels(groups). But when I try on login from someone elses computer it asks for the login and password and allows them to login even though I didn't give them access. After pulling some hair out, I realized that their computer is looking at a different .mdw file which allows them access into my dB.

How do I fix that?

Is the security that I setup wrong in some way?

Thanks![afro]

All MDW's have the same Users group and the same admin account. You need to whack permissions to these in odrder to keep other workgroups from being able to access the file. Use the command line argument in a shortcut to start access with an alternate workgroup : Path\MSAccess.exe /wrkgroup "Workgroup Path and File" "Database Path And File"
