When you have a query that is accessing a large amount of records, is there a trick on getting to the end of the file or query without the "query accessing records" ...
And on my pc, when accessing a large number of records, the query seems to take over the whole machine. Is there anything I can do. (Please dont say SQL Server!!!)

You might want to search google on Optimizing Jet/Access queries. The biggest slow-down is usually filtering or sorting on a field that is not indexed.
