I have a form that has an unbound key field, and a tab control that contains multiple pages, each page has a subform linked to the keyfield on the main form. The form works fine with new data. I have imported legacy data via odbc into sql2000 (passing all of it's stringent data type and content validation) and the data appears to contain no errors - yet as soon as I run the form against the data, the form becomes corrupt - usually, the unbound key field display varying fields from the source (for example the fieldname) - and within moments access dies, and has to be killed with task manager. I am not expecting a specific solution to this problem - just some suggestions as to where to look next.
