Hello;

I have written a query whereby the user needs to enter in a numeric value at which point a table is referenced counting the number of instances of this numeric value entered. The total instances are summed and one number is produced after the query giving the total number of instances.

My question is when the total number of instances is diplayed after the query is there anyway that I can also get it to display the number that was entered as the parameter?

Any help is much appreciated.

D.

Are you using a Totals query?
One column will be the field whose value you want them to type in. Its Total row value will be Where. Its Criteria row value will be [Enter the value] or something like that.
Another column be the field whose value you want them to type in. Its Total row value will be Group By.
The third column will be the field whose value you want them to type in. Its Total row value will be Count.
