Is there a way to access Oracle Data from a SQL-Server database - in the same sort of way that you can have remote databases in Oracle?
Hi Mike,

I don't think that you can access an Oracle DB directly from SS, there are no link table features (that I'm aware of!). I think that you may have to use a third party tool.

Unfortunately I don;t have a copy of SS at the moment :-(
I believe that it cannot be done this way. However, you can use a third-party software to convert and transmit your current database from one DBMS to another. farman
