Hi
Just wondering if there was a way to limit the Access log file for Apache, because mine is in the gigabytes stage now and show no sign of getting any smaller/slowing down. Im running Apache 1.3.27 and would be pleased if someone could give me a hand.

Cheers :)

Not really but you can use logrotate that comes with the apache distribution or Cronolog (my favorite) to roll your logs on a regular basis.

Cronolog is really nice, it allows you to roll your logs into directories like

logs/2003/10/22/access_log

Makes them very easy to manage with automated tools.
