access error message

does anyone know what error message 2105 "You can't go to the specified record" means and what to do about it. It is trying to write a new record to a table from a button click.

Can you describe the setup in more detail?

Is the button event executing a SQL Statement, or simply attempting to save the record (DoCmd.RunCommand acCmdSaveRecord) etc?
