You need to ensure that the user trying to create the files (or in this case copy the files) has permission on the Share your attempting the copy to. You can do this most likely by right clicking on the share on the windows 2000 server and selecting Properties. Next, select permissions and allow Everyone Full Control. At least, that's the easiest way to go about it
