Access DB 'OLE server ?'

I have built an access database on my laptop. I have now moved it over onto the company server but when ever i press anything i get the error message 'cannot connect to OLE server'. It says to restart the OLE servewr or reinstall it'. However the links withi9n the db do work.

Also the background colour of the database is not the same when accessed from other PC's. Why is this?
