I have got an access database which the entire office use (30+ users) for logging support calls from customers.

However when 1 user opens the database she gets a warning that cannot open in exclusive mode.

If I log the same user on to a different PC with a roaming user profile it works fine.

I have:

Removed Office XP
Deleted her cached profile
Created a new roaming profile,
Reinstalled Office XP with SP and applied all fixes
Installed XP SP2

It still displays the warning message.

When she okays it she gets the same message about 20 times, once okayed she can work on the database fine.

Any ideas?

Many Thanks

Neil

Whilst it is fine to post here - you may get a better response from one of teh Access specific forums (I believe there are at least 4 !)

Thanks, I have now raised the question under an Access section.
