Pls I need some help, I want to know what is the steps( only steps) to make Stand alone access database as web based product. and I will be very grateful for ur assistance.

Thanks in advance

You can create web based applications using Pages. However, the user must have internet explorer 5.0 or above installed on their machine and must have the office web components installed. If you build it using Office 2000 web components, then the user must also have the O2000 web components installed. Office 2003 does not require a license for the web components and therefore, they can be freely installed. But the user must be using Windows XP or 2000, not 95 or 98. And, I think, if the backend db is an Access db, then the user must have the jet engine installed. If the backend is a SQL database you don't have to worry about the jet engine.

I’m glad for ur replay. But
I have not much experience in MS access, and if u could explain more detail structured steps.

I have my own ms access database, what I have to do in order to setup as standalone database as a web based product

Thanks for ur assistance in advance

If you are asking about taking an existing MS Access application (forms, reports, etc.) and setting it up as a web based product, you cannot do that - at least not the way you seem to be wanting. If you are asking about working with data currently stored in MS Access tables, there are many websites offering lessons and tutorials. Here are a couple to get you started.

Both have links to other websites that can help.
