I have a combo box which has the First and Last name of some employees entered. The First and Last names are 2 different fields in the table. I am wanting to take this and turn around and query some information based on the name. How can I use the combo box results and find the equivalent 2 fields? I have been staring at this computer for almost 12.5 hours now so if this doesn't make sense I am sorry and will clarify more if need be. Thanks

Hi,
Could post some info like what you want the combo to display ( the turned around name ), what you want to find etc.? Hope it helps. Let me know what happens.

If you want to refer to this combo box, you have to make sure it is bound to a field that has the same format. I suggest that if you have Employee ID related to whatever tables you have then to bound that in the first column and then do your querying from there. Otherwise make sure your bound control is in the same order as the fields you will be querying ([First Name] & ", " & [Last Name] or [Last Name] & ", " & [First Name]).

Hope that makes sense.
