Does anyone know of a way of changeing the Access Backdrop color from that evil dark grey, thats the background. I am trying to avoid using a form as the background, would like to change the color on running of a perticular program, which means I am trying to avoid changing it for good.

Anyone got any ideas

Thankyou very much

In design-view of the form, double-click on the form 'background'.. Not any controls.. And the properties window will come up. On the format tab is a choice: Background color. I think thats what your looking for.

nonturbo, sorry if I did not make my self clear enough, what I am after is to change the color to the Access Background, not a form. I was thinking of having a form as the access background but it is too much of a pain.

Any ideas

So, in other words, you want to change the background color of Access itself when no forms are open, and the database window is minimized?

That's easy. It's a system-set color, just change the "Application Background" color in the Windows Display Properties.
