While using access 97.
I now find that when I try to import a file into a database I find that text and excel files have disappeared from the list.
I have followed MS instructions to rectify the problem, which then works until I either exit Access or reboot me O/S.
I have managed to track this down this fault to the 2 files MSexcel40.dll and Mstext40.dll. Which however hard I try to delete them keep coming back ever time the computer is rebooted.
